Entering the world of dating after a divorce was, and remains, a crazy experience. I was married for 9 years and dated the same person for 4 years before that. I didn’t know how to be single. I didn’t know how to talk with men. I didn’t know if I trusted myself or others.
I crawled and jumped head first into dating. I’ve learned a lot about who I am, what I want and living in the moment enjoying the present. I’ve had my heart broken a few times, but know I will meet someone I will share a deep connection with. This blog chronicles my journey.
I think it is important to emphasize the posts on this site, with the exception of guest posts, express my perception. As with any story there are two sides and I know I am far from perfect. I don’t want to be perfect and am not searching for a perfect partner. Perfect is boring and is much too draining to attempt to maintain. I appreciate the effort all my dates are investing in finding what they are looking for. We may not be looking for the same thing at the same time but it still requires an effort and bit of emotional risk.
If you read my posts and enjoy the content or would like to post your own TornadoDating story, please post a comment or email me. I’d love to have an interactive blog and hear other dating stories — they don’t all have to be tornado dates either. Guest posts could ask questions or provide advice. The only criteria is not to identify the other party or parties by actual name.

Hello,
My name is Eric and I’m a fan of your site Tornado Dating, I think it is really great and you should keep up the great work! I love the variety with which post. I’m a professional blogger, primarily for the site DatingWebsites.org, as well as a self-proclaimed “dating expert”. I can see you accept guest posts and I would love to contribute one, free of charge of course. It could be on a topic of your choice or one I choose. Just let me know.
Thanks,
Eric

Hi Eric. I am definitely open to guest posts providing the articles are relevant and not a sales pitch. I’m open to topics as well. Feel free to shoot over an article or two and I’ll let you know about posting it.
Cheers,
TD
